I was born and raised in a small town located in Southern Louisiana - all the way down to the boot - it never snowed; we could wear shorts year round; and we ate crawfish on Easter Sunday! My parents always have, and still do, live on the same 6 acre property. As a child, I spent my days playing in mud, riding horses, and driving go-karts or four-wheelers through self-made paths in the woods. I find that even with age, that trait has stayed the same - I tend to still make my own paths! I take motivational approaches and I have an upbeat nature. I have a "go-getter" attitude with a positive notion that if you want to be successful in life, you must go after it yourself. Honest, hard work will always pay off in the end!
I graduated from high school at the top of my class and subsequently attended Loyola University New Orleans for Criminal Justice with a Minor in Forensics. Shortly thereafter, I met the lovely man who is my husband today. He is encouraging, loving and methodical. He helps keep me grounded in more ways than one; he always pushes me to stay motivated and pushes me to be the best person I am capable of being. We have six marvelous, kind-hearted, beautiful children together - ranging from ages 22 to one year. Our door is regularly open, our house is without fail loud and chaotic, and there is always a hot meal on the stove. If you're hungry, come on over! I'll feed you! Our family dynamic is unquestionably the reason why I am able to proliferate in fast paced environments and organization! I am also agile and adaptable!
When our older children weren't so young any more, I was able to venture back out into the workforce. I found my way to the restaurant industry, where I made an incline towards management. During this period, I acclimated superior customer service skills and leading abilities. Meanwhile, I grew weary of foodservice and I was graced with an opportunity to start working in the medical field. I have been in this profession ever since, and I absolutely love it.
With my medical calling, I have been able to experience situations and acquire a knowledge I would never have imagined - from Pain Management to Pediatrics. PhWellness has acknowledged my abilities and specialties as a whole and has allowed me to blossom! I am able to use my forward thinking skills for the leveraging of organized approaches for daily planning as well as be industrious with my diplomatic communication style. This helps me to stay focused on maximizing engagement and satisfaction of our clients. I thrive to see our clients flourish!
